Princess & the Prom is a Connecticut organization created to provide free prom dresses to any area high school girl who might not otherwise be able to afford one. It is our goal that every girl has the opportunity to feel like a princess on the night of her prom!
Gown Giveaway Event......................................................
This was our most successful event to date - we helped over 400 girls at the 3rd Annual Gown Giveaway event held on March 28 & 29, 2009. We appreciate everyone's patience and continued enthusiasm throughout the day, and we hope the experience was all that you expected. We continue to look for ways to improve the event and already are working on exciting ideas for next year!
Princess for a Day: Our 2009 Princess for a Day winner is Mariah Allen of Pathways to Technology HS. She has won 2 free tickets to her prom, free hair and makeup appointments on Prom day, as well as gift certificates to Macy's, Victoria's Secret, Stop & Shop, CVS. Also included in her prize package is a matching sterling silver necklace and earrings by Dragonfly Designs.

Many thanks to our selfless and tireless volunteers! Over 60 women graciously volunteered their time at the 3rd Annual Gown Giveaway event, and enthusiastically helped 400 girls feel like a princess!
