Gown Giveaway Event.............................

Every year, Princess & the Prom collects hundreds of fashionable, new or nearly new prom dresses and accessories.   All dresses have been generously dry cleaned ahead of time by Best Cleaners.  These lovely items are organized in one location for your convenience:  The Gown Giveaway Event!

We welcome all high school girls who are in financial need of a prom dress.  No proof of financial need is required - we trust you to determine your own need.  All that is required is a valid high school ID and a pre-registration ticket.  Simply attend the Gown Giveaway and walk out with a dress and accessories that you love  - all for free! 

How it Works..........................................

Step 1..........Starting March 15th, pre-register for a time slot at the Gown Giveaway Event. 
Pre-registration is MANDATORY - it's how you get the free ticket that you will need to attend the Gown Giveaway.  Pre-register details coming soon!You may only pre-register for one time slot.

Step 2..........Grab your Gown Giveaway Ticket and high school ID and head to the Hilton Garden, Inn, Windsor, CT. Get Directions here.  Please arrive a few minutes early to sign in and fill out a form.  Have a seat in the waiting room until your name is called.

Step 3..........Now the fun begins!  You will be assigned a Personal Shopper to help you navigate the dresses and the dressing rooms.  There are over 1,500 dresses arranged by size and color.  Once you have selected your perfect dress, we will help you find an accessory to match - from cute clutches to wonderful wraps to sparkly jewels.  Remember - all Princess & the Prom gowns and accessories are completely free!

Step 4..........Stop at the checkout desk and have your dress protected with plastic compliments of Best Cleaners.  Write down any comments about your day with Princess & the Prom so that we can improve the Gown Giveaway Event for future years.  Don't forget to enter your name in the Princess for a Day drawing - the winning girls will recieve 2 free tickets to her prom, free hair & make-up appointments on Prom day, as well as gift certificates to Macy's, Victoria's Secret and more!
